Good morning. I think know the answer to my question but I am going to throw it out there anyway. I have an OfficeServ 7400 with two PRI's coming into it. All of our numbers (we have a block of 1,000 DID's) last 4 digits have been set up as the users extension for 4 digit dialing.
That being said, I have one DID that is pointed to a station group which does not match the last 4 digits of the DID #. When users dial the help desk from outside the company, they dial ###-###-6700. This number is set to forward to station group 5040. My boss wants people to be able to dial ext 6700 when inside the office. Currently they can only dial 5040 because that is where the DID is pointing. Is there anyway I can set it up so the callers can dial 6700 (last 4 of DID)instead of 5040 (station group)when on the companies telephone network?

Thanks,
Scott

You will have to change the feature code 67 and then renumber station group 5040 to 6700.

You will also need to re-number the ext block and mailbox block (if applicable) in the VM.

You could also re-number a virtual and all call forward it to the station group, not sure what that will do to the display in regards to the callers station number/name though.

Agree with Bobby. The easiest will be to renumber yout station group and the feature code for 67
