I will do my best to explain the situation. The customer wants us to install, into a conference room, the ability to use 12 phones periodically at the conference table. The table is portable and moved around frequently (so no hard wiring can be used on the table). I was thinking running a 25-pr cable to the nearest wall and mounting an amphenol wall mount box. Then making up another 25 pr whip with a matching (opposite) amphenol connector on one end and some type of 12 port RJ11 gang box that reaches the middle of the table. This assembly can be stored in the conf. room and put in and removed as necessary. Any ideas? Thanks!

Leviton makes a 12 port RJ11 to Amphenol junction box that plugs onto the end of a cable that setup should work fine.

Either of those ideas sound like great solutions. I would think the customer would be please with either one. Just make sure there is velcro or something available to keep the connections together, in case it gets tripped over or yanked on. It would suck to knock all 12 people off the phone at once.
