There is a Comdial system at a site and I can't find info on it. The system sits in the floor and is the shape of a tower server and there are 2. The sets are Comdial Impact. There is a terminal in the room which doesn't work. I don't know if you can use set based admin for programming on this system or not.

Sounds like an FXS. If the system has been without power, it's probably defaulted and I don't know if key code generation is still possible. Normal programming is done through VMMI.

This system is powered on and working. I need to add 4 lines to a set. I activated a set by just running a jumper from a spare port. I have the line numbers that I need to program on this set. Do you know if I can use Procomm which is what I have on my laptop, to connect to this system and do I need a pwd to log in? Another vendor came here in the past and if there is a pwd I wouldn't know it.

Cannot use Procomm..you need a proprietary software program and password to do changes. ERR3056...you an Old Nortel guy with loop continuity issues?
