I've seen these installed and they work... I don't think they are rated, they just say network jack.

Of course they work. DSL ethernet is 10 base T.
If the run is short enough, it ought to work at 100 T speeds.

I prefer to use Leviton keystone jacks and plates even for voice, at least in commercial applications. I used a few screw terminal biscuit jacks for phones on the last job I did.
