This may be a decent solution. It does look time consuming and rather labor intensive to install. But it will give them what they want. You may need to readjust that price though

At $200 per drop, a reasonable rate for this type of work, you will need to charge $40,000 to do 200 drops. That's reasonable, except for the fact that the Wiremold part of the job is very labor intensive.
Like The Hal said, I'd add another $10,000 for the hassle, and $5,000 for the short-notice punishment fee.
Nobody else is bidding, OR someone backed out at the last minute. Go get 'em.

AnthonyH, thanks that looks interesting.
Arthur, yes, I can't decide whether they're clueless, jsut had issues withthe building owner - who did the renovation and still will not give them keys to get into the building to do an actual walk through and is why they are so pressed for time.
We'll see what happens, I have not bee doing so great lately so it's about time it turns around, I HOPE!

I hope it turns around for you too, just don't lose your shirt on this one. The T-70 with snap on faceplates from Panduit is what we used some time ago. Keep in mind that any raceway is expensive and can be time consuming (you pretty much have to be a carpenter to make it look nice) so make sure you do your homework before committing to this. Also, being pressed for time is going to be a big problem because this stuff needs to be ordered. -Hal

We all hate those Panduit/Wiremold jobs! If Panduit, the additional materials could run up the material costs significantly. Crazy prices for that plastic. Most, if not all, of Wiremold's stuff is smaller channel handling, more for residential. Sold retail everywhere, not so great. I completely relate to the first few sentences. Anytime there appears to be an easy road to some fair profit ... there is always a catch nowadays. Love the carpenter comment - so true - most Panduit installs by phone techs look awful that I have seen - wavy, crooked, pieces that don't match up .

Yes, make sure you charge enough for the molding - it's very labor intensive. Years ago I was part of the crew that wired Fordham University for Executone.
The college's requirements were that any exposed wire (outside of basements) had to be in (metal) wiremold. We installed over 18,000' of various size and shape molding.
The smaller wiremold (200 & 500) series is designed for the residential market but there are signiicantly larger units. I believe the 5000 series holds about 40 cat 5E cables with a 40% fill rate.
If you're going to install molding - get yourself a hacksaw, a level and a square. A mitre box is not necessary if you GET THE RIGHT FITTINGS. There are distinct pieces for inside angles, outside angles, for changing directions on the same plane, for all sorts of things. Look over the job carefully and plan all your runs FIRST. Spend the time up front and it will pay off at the end. Order all the material you think you'll need and then get a few extra pieces of various types - you'll probably need them.

So Update.
I got to walk the building today. The guy is still being pretty dodgy about what exactly is going on, but I have to put some numbers together.
The wall are all closed up so everything will have to be fished down from the attic and up from the basement.
The first floor has huge a-frame rafters so there is plenty of space.
there are some old cables done by someon ehwo just butchered the job. but they showed a clear vertical pathway from the basement into the attic.
The only thing that is up now is how to find all the locations from the attic and the basement.
I was thinking about taking wire hangers and drilling up/down from the room into the space
so if the wall is like this ========== * drill a hole where * is and poke a wire up/down through the insulation so it's easily visible.
Any one have better/good suggestion on an efficient way of doing this for a 100 drops per?

That's pretty much it. Take a small feeler bit and drill up or down at each location. Hopefully there is carpet on the floor so you can pull up the edge and drill as close as possible to the wall then push it back down and no one will know the difference. NEVER attempt to drill through carpet! You are going to have to patch the ceiling holes.
I like to use pieces of ceiling hanger wire but clothes hanger wire will do. Measure off the wire to the center of the partition and drill your hole from above or below.
