Thanks. I couldn't remember the details, and didn't take the time to look it up.

Wasn't the Norvergence out at the same time as the 42s? I'm just wondering if any of those got caught in the recall.

I remember that. At one time ESI was getting the flash drives from Hitachi and Samsung (i think). The samsungs had a life expectancy of appx. 6 months, not 5 or 7 either, they were going down in 6 like clockwork. It affected every system it was installed in. ESI rushed me 4 flash drives just to have in my pocket. They were actually intimidated by the oncoming flood of system down calls coming their way. I must say they were definately proactive after it was figured out what was happening. I still have the "Red Alert" letter ESI published. I kept a copy of it to cover my tail. After it was all over ESI got very tight lipped on the subject.

Novergence was either a 42S or a Gen 1 72E. That recall was a pain! Never in my 22 years have I been able to predict to the day when one of my systems was going to crash. That made for a "fun" month.
