We have a used Executone Medley with a few model 64 phones. We have four CO lines in a pool, line 5 is private. We'd like to have the auto-attendant be able to route calls to certain departments, but can't figure out how.
For callers from the main menu, our current hours should be option 1, and directions should be 2. Departments should be 3 to 8. One or two of those should ring to more than one extension at once. All should ring back to extensions 100 and 109 (at the same time) up front if there is no answer, then to voice mail if still no answer.
Can this programming be done from the phones, or is a terminal required? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I've heard in some stores (like Eckerd) an automatic PA page generated when a caller selects a department. Maybe I'm pressing my luck, but is this system capable of doing that?
Thanks again.

All medley programming can be done from the phone set. It sounds like you need to set up some ring groups. If you don't have a manual, you can get one from our web site on CD-Rom (Intertel will only allow their manuals to be sold on CD-Rom from licensed resellers). ------------------ Intertel Telephone Repair Executone Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited January 07, 2005).]

Not sure of the paging.
You can program from any phone or a PC using Procomm Plus.
You need to access programming and setup the departments as you described them. Then goto the autoattendent and setup the the CCR.
You really need a manaul to understand everything, but it is a neat little system after you figure it out.
ESI designed the system for Executone.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.
