It depends. I would say that it is good enough to get through the problem of a down system - rebuild. Nothing is going to take the place of a live recording. I sure hope someday we can just upload a .wav or other format...One thing we did recently was to use this technique on a voice mail greeting from a customer that unexpectantly died. The mother called us and wanted to keep the voice recording of her son! We saved it for her and she nows has a copy. It sounded crystal clear.
