My site is down and grider said to give you guys a shout.please help me.

Jules website is down. That is obvious when you clic on it you will see. The person that built the website who is not taking calls at this moment also has a website. All calls to this person are going to Voice Mail where his website is verbally quoted as:

www.h2inspections.com

When you attempt to goto that website it is also down. It appears this to be a problem of a financial nature as opposed to a technology malfunction.

OK, As of this moment both sites are up and running. An hour ago they weren't.

Anyone looking to host my website please let me know I did not like the scare I got this morning. as grider put it even his site was down. HELP PLEASE

I, as well as some of my customers, have been using them for years. I don't have a dog in this fight other than I know they work, and have been very dependable, so I am staying with them. The only problem I have with my site is getting my web guy (me) off his butt and finishing the content.

I pay $60 per year for my first site, and $40 for each site after that. Lots of space with unlimited email.

looks like ICDSoft went up a bit. I might be grandfathered. I really like the interface that ICDSoft uses, plus their SPAM filtering is pretty decent. Looks like either way you have a pretty reliable hoster. 1and1 looks better up front, because they have larger space, but you won't ever need that much, so make sure you look at other features, such as FTP accounts, CGI scripts, extensions, etc... Space and traffic are pretty much irrelevant, it's the features that you get which are important. Like I said, both are comparable, so I think you can win either way. You do get discounts on subsequent website hosting with ICDSoft if your going to do multiple hosting. If you would like to look at thier contol panel in detail, just PM me. I have a hosting account I use with them that is strictly used for testing and email. I can setup a login for you so you can look around.

I've been using Web Hosting For Idiots for both my company's 16 domain names (2 accounts with a bunch of redirects) as well as my community theater groups' web site. Have never had any trouble with them for either one over the past 3 years.... Their phone is even answered by a real human, from Texas!

It shows suspended as a billing issue when it comes up.
Maybe your hosting co didnt pay their bill.

Thats what I am thinking also because it happened at the begining of this month. I am hoping thatI can get my files from him and move my dervice some where else.

It is usually a good idea to make regular back-ups of the files on the host server, by copying the files to your computer (via FTP is the fastest).

Some providers will do that (back up) for you... as I do for my website clients.
