I have a new customer with an Adix 16M CPU. The power went out and the battery on the CPU was apparently bad. He does have a floppy backup for the database but I can't get in it with my Adix 3.0 programmer. It goes to about 80% and then returns an error. I know he should probably upgrade but he wanted me to try to find the software and just do a restore.

I thought you could program all of the systems with the new programmer. I could be wrong. Are you setting the software version coreectly before you create the database?

Programmer 3 is only backward compatible to software version 6. The 16M is probably version 4.5 or 4.7. If you have access to Iwatsu's dealer site, you can download DOS programmers from there.

The CPU16M card is software release 4.75, and uses DOS programmer 7.20. The executable filename is rpc7u.exe. Don't confuse that with a later software release that uses adix720.exe.

Unfortunately I don't have access to the site. I have tried several of the Iwatsu resellers and they don't have it either. I don't know if they are authorized or not but so far no one has been able to find it. If anyone has access to the site and could check for the DOS Programmer it would be greatly appreciated.

I through Rpc8u(8[1].01)asia.exe to manage the ADIX-E but always show the message: Data Linkage not Ready
Should be enter password first ,is it? How to solve this problem if I have no password.
