Cannot fax from Vonage. I will not pay the extra money for the fax port and a buddy of mine paid the extra money and still cannot fax from it. Other than that I love the service!

You need to lower the baud rate on your fax machine. I had the same problem with my HP multifunction. The Vonage tech indicated that there is more line noise on their lines than standard analog lines. I lowere mine to 14400, but you can test different speeds on yours to see which works best.

You can also try to put a *99 before the fax # (*99,1-212-555-1212).
OR
We have had much better luck sending faxes using the new RTP300 from Vonage.
But beware... it DOES NOT play nice with sending a WORKING CPC to disconnect the call when someone hangs up.
