I found more notes from our tech guy and was able to phone in and reset the protocol from DTR to NONE.
While phoning in I could not download a backup either, same problem.
So I am back where I stared, 9600 Baud, Protocol NONE Xmodem error at all Baud rates.

To respond to a earlier question in this posting...YES.. you should have procomm set to XMODEM... the IDS system protocol..B-screen..will work with the protocol set to NONE or X-ON.

In Procomm: Basic options; terminal TVI920, protocal XMODEM, data options NORMAL, script NONE, Capture NONE.
Connection Settings; port speed 9600, port protacal DISABLED, compresion DISABLED, flow control NONE. (advanced) 8,N,1
Try theses settings.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.
