Re the phone system. Even the older PBXs had ring-down capability. And most of them also had automatic autodial capability. And the extensions could be toll restricted to prevent all numbers except the desired one(s). If the 'washing machine' says Mitel on it, you should be good to go, assuming you or someone you can rely on, is knowledgeable enough to program it. John C.
