Does anyone know of a shallow 25/V70V volume control?
The ring this is supposed to be installed in is on the opposit side of a triple gang box, so I only have about 1 1/4 to play with.
Any ideas?

Would a Bogen or Dukane call in button with volume control work for you? I think they will fit in a single gang box
Otherwise you could use a potentiometer from the shack but it would cause the volume to be increased a little at the other speakers if this is on a common loop.

That’s pretty shallow; will they let you use a surface mount extension box on it?

Thanks for the replies guys. Surface box is out, the walls are all faux finished and the want nothing to do with a surface unit. Bobby I will take a look at the Dukance buttons for future reference. We spoke with the builder on site and he agreed to move the control to a more sutable location. The painters have to come back for some touch up work anyway, so they are going to just patch and paint the hole.
Thanks again guys

How many watts does it need to be Atlas used to make a 5K ohm control for 70v speakers that was less then 1" in depth I think I still have a few.

I would just blank it up and move it over but I see that you already came to that conclusion. :thumb:
