Could anybody tell me what the tap levels are for the Executone SR8W5 Flush mounted ceiling speakers? The line transformer is part number A-43470 and the secondary side has four leads: Black, Brown, Yellow, and Green. Thanks!

What does it say on the transformer where the leads enter the coil? Black should be common.

It doesnt say anything on the transformer. I connected an amp to the primary and adjusted for 70volts and with the secondary feeding an 8 ohm load I was able to determine the different tap levels.
FYI the levels are: Brown Lead = 1.25 Watts Yellow Lead = 2.50 Watts Green Lead = 5.00 Watts Black = Common
Thanks.

Use an 8 ohm/at least 5 watt resistor, not a speaker voice coil. Measure at 1Khz. Betcha it's more like 1,2,4. That's pretty common.
