Does anybody know if you have to be licensed to install CCTV only (not alarm systems) in the State of Maryland?

Running any kind of wiring in Maryland requires two licenses. One is a general Maryland Construction license. After that, you must have a low voltage electrician's license in the appropriate city or county. Many of the counties allow reciprocity for this license, but you really have to ask to be sure.
