That's actually an Equity Phone, the Charter had 2 full rows of buttons and used the same Shell.

The Cabinet, Yup it's a boat anchor. I didn't own a boat so I chucked mine in the.. ummm, recycling bin years ago.
Those were the days when you came to work on the phones you tuned them till they worked just right. There was no programming the system you used shorting bars and wires. And you will find a card in the system with about 10 variable resistors for tones and hands free and page etc.. You connected the right signalling leads to a phone to make it ring. The BLF console was another 25pair cable.
I slung a lot of 25 pair runs when I was a MAC tech adding phones.
There were connectors to check and components you could replace with a soldering iron.
Now you swap out the bad card or phone.
But then maybe what you have there is a collectors Item. It's at least 25 years old. Sell it on Ebay as an antique.

Also any idea what the four boxes model K15002 were used for? Antique or not it was just more stuff I got from a cleanout. Keep these jobs comming and I should have more oddball stuff to explore.

What color are the boxes and can you give me a better description.
They could be external page adapters.....

The boxes are brown in color and the cover lifts off the front. inside there are lots of resistors and 2 tiny relays, one medium relay and three larger ones. 18 wires go to a male 25 pair connector on the side. Also two terminals inside labeled 20Hz possibly ringing current?

It never fails......
You get rid of all your old tech manuals, parts,
etc., then you need them to answer to a question.

The "boxes" were used for both external page and external ring for a page system.
In the middle of the unit, there should be a small socket were binary chips could be installed.
This determined what page zone was called.
