Modification is easy, you move the red and black ringer wires to the G and RR (yellow and black) wires on the network. Here's a print https://www.digitalbits.org/downloads/K-2500_3554.pdf

Thank you for the link carl, I had already traced it back from the bell to the board and made the changes works great in my workshop, time to carry it all back to work and hook it up.

Tie the black & yellow leads from the mounting cord to the red & black bell leads. Tape the rest of the bell leads up.
Sam, that will give him an open bell circuit. The slate and slate/red leads would need to be hooked together (or left as they were, on A & K of the network) to complete the circuit.

Arthur -

I'm not sure. If he's just getting generator directly from the Icm, I don't think he needs the capacitor that's between A&K.

Hmmm. I'll have to test that.

Sam, you said to remove all the ringer wires from their respective terminals (I'm paraphrasing) and to connect just the Red and Black leads to the extra mounting cord pair. You said to insulate and store the other ringer leads. However, that will give him an open circuit.

The red/slate and the slate leads either need to be connected together, to give a continuous circuit through both ringer coils, (the way we used to do it for a ringing diode matrix) or they must be put back on A & K.

It will work either way, (connected directly, or via the condensor in the network) but not with the red/slate and slate leads flopping around, disconnected.

It's been too long. I'll take your word on it. It sounds right.

Thanks for the correction.
