Ben,
When I was 16 I installed a WE 1A2 key system in my parent's house. It is still there, and aside from a few blown fuses (which was caused by me), it has run without interruption for 25 years. You will definitely have fun and learn a lot from working on these systems. I have ITT 400E ktu cards that you can have. Just PM me.

Ben, Your interest is admirable, but the majority of your list is made up of items that have developed collector value. That means that the days of 1A2 freebies are all but over. If you have been scouring for this stuff on-line, I think you are aware of that. Perhaps if you were to post a "buy" request in buy/sell, you may get some promising leads. The price of 25 pair cable alone is crazy. I pass through Little Falls occasionally but even I don't have anything on your list that I could just give away.

That is the Touch-A-Matic 32, a single-line telephone, electrically equivalent to a 500 set.
Since it has no keys, it is not intended to work on a key telephone system. It will not work directly on a 1A2 system without modifications including conversion to A-lead control, and a line selector such as a 6040 key.
There are TAM-32 sets, equivalent to a x565HK set, that are equipped with a 5-line & Hold key that would work directly.

I may still have an external A-Lead adapter that has a line powered contact if it helps. It connects to the line cord.

Ben, check out this eBay seller. I've bought several items from him and have never had trouble. The prices are good as well. https://myworld.ebay.com/cougarvalleyhwt If you don't see anything you need or want, just search any of the following keywords on eBay search: - 1a2 key - 1a2 phone - 1a2 key system - western electric phone - multiline rotary - rotary office phone I started off with pretty much exactly what you have now, so feel free to PM me any questions you might have, or check out my website that's in my signature. Good luck to you!

Ben, I am much older than you but started to "acquire" telco eqt before your were allowed to. I admire your interest and when I return from visit family over the holidays may be able to see what I could send you. All I would want is shipping cost. I have an ITT 501 wired as well as the practice (Manual) which I would send the manual and maybe some other stuff. I'll let you know when I get back on Jan 3d. I do have some of the stuff on your list and would be happy to help you out to get you started. Al

Is this project getting anywhere? I'm curious to know.
