Have you set up the trunk groups for the PRI? And if so, did you try to dial the trk group number or the trunks and make a call? If you can't dial out on the trunks that are defined it is a PRI issue and not an IPXOffice issue.

i have tried dialing 9, the trunk group and the trunk number and get the same thing. On-hook by CO-20 or what ever trunk it tries to sieze.

i don't think it's the PRI since it worked fine on the prior switch and i get the same error whether the PRI is connected or not.

Quick question, are you certified on the Coral? Sounds to me like you don't have the d-channel setup right or set/emblock setup/or lcr configured properly. I would also check to see what you PRI is set to..Custom NI-1 or NI-2?

no, im not certified. Company won't pay for it. inbound calls seem to work fine, so i wouldn't think it would be a D channel problem. LCR seems fine as i get the same thing using LCR or dialing the trunks directly.

Inbound and outbound can be set differently. Calls have to be set for emblock for both and correct protocal. You might want to consider getting a certified tech in to fix it.

How did you get saddled with it then? I mean, you are going to be the one they hold responsible to maker it work, right?
The PI manual doesn't cover basic telephony 101 or the logic that goes behind how the Tadiran functions. The Coral is a true PBX not some over the counter key system than can be programmed from simply having a manual and not the training class.
Not trying to sound too pessimistic or negative but your employer has put you into a position you are not trained for and could suffer for it. Seems pretty unfair if you ask me.

I know here in Ohio, we have certain carriers that will not allow the call to go out unless their system sees the main btn from the phone switch. Check your alternalte line id.
