Both programming ports use a straight through DB9 and I use Procomm for the VM.

A few weeks ago I programmed the Tadiran to ring all phones. The client called me up and said it is not ringing anywhere now, just flashing the line appearance when someone calls. I told him to find the Tadiran dealer who sold him the system. But just in case they call again, I'd like to know if the Tadiran Emerald Ice needs a battery to store the programming.
Vaya con Dios amigos! Butch

I can't remember without looking at a KSU. If there is, I have never had to replace one, nor have I ever had an Emerald ICE lose it's programming after a power cycle.
How did you make the ring change? You should have added the phones to a UCD group and then under C.O. programming added that group to the Day ring plan.
Is the system in Day 1,2,3 mode, Night mode, Time mode?

There is a watch battery on the CCB, like 6string, I've never had to change it or lost programming
Never blame on malice, what can be adequately attributed to STUPIDITY!!
