Customer is having an issue in when they are on a conference/speaker call and the caller is speaking, the sound penetrates thru the room, bounces back and then mutes the person we are trying to listen to.

turn volume down? perhaps a bit of foam over the speaker and/or mics?
Could have sworn those were full duplex.

those are full duplex. Are you sure they aren't getting muted from their end? Thats what it sounds like.
