Great info here for those of us that sell these mainly on the smaller side usually. Nice that they are making the cards denser and good information on the PRI card. Now if they would finally come out with the bigger vmail.
Thanks a lot for the explanations! Will let you know if we get it!

My guess is that the larger Vmail will be at the end of first quarter next year. I think it will be wall mountable at least 8 ports and 70 hours. It will be an analog voicemail similiar in feel to the Pathfinder/Dispatch. My hope is that it captures caller id and has a good vmail to email interface, sends the message to smart phones and lets you listen save and delete it off the voice server from an app. I also suspect it will work on both the MBX and SBX and mayber some third party systems as well.

It will be an analog voicemail Is this what sales has said? I would have hoped that since we can use STS phones that it would have been a digital one similar to the Talkpath/Dispatch. Isn't analog going backward? It would require a full ring cycle and all the baggage that goes along with it.

I called Vertical for a job that requires 12 lines and 12 stations. They told me I needed a 4003-30, a 4002-03, and a 4032-16. They said the 3x8 borad will ONLY work in the main ksu and the 3x16 will only work in the expansion. Is this right? If so, why can't you use a 3x8 in an expansion ksu? BTW, I think it's kind of ridiculous to have to quote a system that is 12 x 48 when they only need 12 of the 48 digital ports.

I have a 3x8 working in a 6x16 expansion cabinet.

My first install was 12x48(only using 33 of the digital ports, the customer raves about the system! We are now selling about 1 or 2 a week! Most of them are smaller 6x16's but everyone loves the system. Now if we can get LG to give us cell phones for being dealers it would be great lol!
