Just received 2 emails recently from a National requiring HIPAA Certification and Aerial Lift Certification. Pricing through US Rentals is $250.00 for a 3 hour class. The HIPAA certification is anywhere from $20.00 on up, based on the level required. Anyone else receiving these request, and if so, who, how and where did you get your HIPAA online Certification?

Yes I received the same,They dont give me enough business to justify their BS requirements and paying on my nickel. They are lowering rates not paying travel and want all these certifcations.
I can stay home and make no money.

Pete Tenuta sent me links to a $20 and $25 HIPPO :-) course. Here they are You don't need to do the a full security expert course as those typically apply to health care/medical workers. A basic course will suffice as long as there is some certificate of completion at the end. In doing a search online a found a couple options that appear to offer what we are looking for. I have not had any experience with them but at first glance they look ok: This website offers basic HIPAA training course for $25 and provides a certificate of completion: https://myhipaatraining.com/This website offers a HIPAA Basics training Course for $20 (with a $5 discount when registering 5 or more users) and also provides a certificate https://www.hipaaexams.com/hipaa-certification.htmlAs far as the lift, I have a U.S. Rentals account as my customer. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can get a basic certification course. Geeze, my lift of preferece is the smallest Genie. Carl

I don't mess with the nationals when they start getting silly with their requirements. We had a new one call us out of the blue wanting a rush job scheduled in the next 12 hours but insisted we sign their 17 page contract first. We were happy to pass on that!

The HIPAA Certification I received was administered by the End User, OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University) and all lift training...Scissor-lift, Forklift, Boom Lift, Reach Fork, et cetera have been either employer provided or classes at the local Union Hall.

I love it. About 18 years or so ago, we had a guy run his lift into a 440 volt line at the Jeep plant. I think he survived, but only barely. The worst I ever did was run into a pole in a Wal Mart store. Now that gets your attention. I'm hoping this "certification" is just a common sense, "look around before you drive" type of course. Yeah, I'll spring the $75 if US Rentals is much more than that.
