Hey Everyone,
It's been a rough two weeks and not looking good until I get my problem solved. Here it is. I have two 7400s networked over a point to point t1. The connection is good and I have no problem with ports or anything. I did all of the programming as instructed in the Special Applications guide for the 7400. I can make intercom calls between the two systems. The problem is that I can't get Node B to make and outgoing call using Node As pri.
Here is the specs of each node: A: 7400 with a 7200 Expansion Cabinet MP40 with 4.60B LP40 with v2.0 Tepria card 2 OAS cards using the MGI channels on each. It has a DID list setup to accommodate the 99 numbers that are given to it.
B: 7400 single cabinet MP40 4.60B LP40 v2.0 SVMi E 2 OAS cards 8Trk card
I believe the part that I am hung up on is how to make the tandem calls work. The internal intercom calling was the easy part. Once I can get the outbound calls to work then it will be done for me. Can anyone help on this? Any information on how to setup the outbound on node B so that node A will receive it and make it go through as an outbound call.

What are the System ID's? How do they access trunks at Node A?

The feature you are after is referred to as "call hop off".
It's done via the LCR on node b.
Surely samsung tech support have some documentation on howto do this?
I see a lot of mentions of the OS7400 special applications guide, is it not in this?

In the node - Send the digits in lcr out of the spnet trunk group which also includes a modify table. in the modify table insert NNN9 (N=node number) with a delete count of 1. Then in hub node, enter 9 in the did with the outgoing trunk grp in the rp's.

Thank all of you who responded. I was able to get the outgoing part of the call from Node B to Node A working. Woohoo for a successful outgoing co call from Node B.
Now here is the problem I am facing at the moment. Node A has a did list of 99 numbers. Using the new Special Apps guide, I have made the programming just how they saw for the DID to work passing from Node A to Node B. When I try it, I get the call can't be reached at this time.
Programming for 714 Node A:
Digit 9184267253 All ring Plans Ring 4 (4 is the extension starting number for Node B) 99 DC 0 CW N The rest default
714 for Node B Digit 9184267253 All rp's 400 99 DC 0 CW N
Now according to the manual it should work without a hitch this way. But for me it's saying that the call can't be completed as dialed. Something with the DID pass-through from one Node to the other is not working. Anyone where I can look for a setting that would affect this?
