Hi everyone,
I have installed two SV8100 systems at two different office and linked with netlink. Both systems are new and ver.7.
Both are working and can communicate each other. fine,
One of the system (secondary)is getting disconnected frequently
I tested the network and found it is working fine without any time out. Please help me to find out the problum and rectified it.
Thanks

I would look at the network on the secondary unit end for a conflicting IP address. We had exactly the same issue with one site resetting on a 5 site network - found out a local staffer had added some WiFi gear with a conflicting IP.......... You also might want to run wireshark on the VoIP connection to the secondary PBX.......helped us immensely.

Check out your network performance. Are you using the customer's WAN or using it across public internet? We have one with two secondary sites. The first site resets occasionaly too while the second runs great. The reset is a result of poor internet availability at the first site. The customer is aware and ok with this for now and are working to get a fibre feed from their ISP. If connection is lost or the delay becomes too high, the secondary site will reset.

From the Netlink Network Manual

"General IP Configuration
The voice quality of VoIP depends on variables such as available bandwidth,
network latency, and quality of service initiatives (QoS), all of which are
controlled by the network and internet service providers. Because these
variables are not in NEC control, it cannot guarantee the performance of the
users IP based voice solution. Therefore, NEC recommends connecting the
VoIP equipment through a local area network using private IP addresses.
For a network to be suitable for VoIP it must pass specific requirements. To
make sure that the site meets these requirements, an IP ready check and a
site survey must be completed at each site before VoIP implementation.
 One-way delay must not exceed 100ms.
 Round-trip delay must not exceed 200ms.
 Packet loss must not exceed 1%
 Data switches must be manageable
 Routers must provide QOS
 Adequate bandwidth for estimated VoIP traffic (refer to 1.5.3 Bandwidth)
 Depending on how QoS policies are built in the network, assignments might be needed in the CPU"

What's the connectivity between the sites?

MPLS, Point to point circuit or VPN across the net?
