I have a customer with the 18 button Platinum phones. One of the phones has the message waiting light lit. the user has gone in and deleted the messages, however the light is still lit. I had them try Feat#8 and press the mailbox button to turn out the light. That did not work. Any other suggestions?

Try sending a message to the phone, then wait a few minutes and retrieve the message. Give the voice mail system another crack at turning out the light.

If the message light is SOLID, it's not a voice mail message, but a message left by another extension. FEAT, #, 8 would normally turn off that light as well, but try Message,#,# for a SOLID message light.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
