I am having an issue with my nitsuko phones.
The person on the other side can't hear me at all. Only if I place it on speakerphone can they hear me. The phone's receiver does not transmit my voice. I changed the wire and no different, I chanced the receiver and it made no difference. Only when I changed the entire phone would it start working again.
So it seem that there is an issue inside the phone itself.
So far this problem has effected 2 of my phones during the last 5 years. I am wondering if this is a common problem with these phones and if there is any solution to fix it besides a total replacement of the phone.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?
Thanks.

How old are the phones? It was common for the hook switch to wear out in many of the older phones. If the parts are available they can be replaced. You can also send them to be repaired

You are set for headset mode on the phone. Call1 + 834.

CT, not sure that would fix it, since replacing the phone works.
I have never had a phone go bad like that, it has usually been handset or cords being the problem.
I would suspect that the handset cord was not in the strain relief and has been tugged enough to fracture the solder joint of the jack.
