We have a strange issue on some of the phones (Digital DT300 series) all in same COS. There are a couple phones when you press the DSS key we have programed for them the button will not light up. It also doesnt light up to show they are on the phone. The Buttons are proggramed as 01 DSS One Keys. Every once in awhile it will work but most of the time it does not. We have done a system reset. Any thoughts?

haven't come across this before but you could try pulling out the station card, delete it in WebPro then plug it back in again and see if that fixes it..

When you say a couple of phones are they the same phones every time? If so rotate with known phones not have the issue.
If it is a phone issue it would be a rarity, they are extremely reliable.

At least with the REAL dss console you should not "renumber" a dss key.
You have to change the type to none, save it, then re program as a DSS key with the proper extension number, otherwise the lamping is not reliable .

Have you verified that 30-05 is set correctly?

It would not light up on any phones for that certain DSS key. Spoke to NTAC. They had me turn 15-02-21 and 20-02-19 and seems to have fixed the issue. Really strange I have never seen before.
Thanks Guys

15.02.21 is usually used for *03 type of DSS. From memory 20.02.19 caused some problems here when I turned that on with our inhouse system..
