chvling You lost me on this one . Since TASKE takes the raw smdr data and the raw acd data and converts it to useable call center stats / forecastings . I don't see how a printer will help to recover real time data that could be rentered into Taske . A real time reporting package is a real time reporting package . Maybe I don't understand your question ?

We are trying to provide a basis for the number of calls in the event that Taske goes down. The Taske server is a fairly stable app, but when it goes down(like all technology does) it goes down hard and has in the past been down for several days. When it goes down, there is no buffer, and no way to reenter data in Taske.
Also it would be neat to be able to get voice processor stats, such as channel usage, etc. This isn't a major need or problem, hence why I did not persue it further with our vendor.

Chevling Have you ever seen the raw data stream from an ACD event ? All the ones I have seen look like hieroglyphics . The SMDR is readable but not the ACD real time events . If your switch as internal SMDR you should be able to pull data mining reports from TASKE as far as vm port usage in a historical search through TASKE .

Chevling You say your TASKE is down for days ? You do realize if you reboot the "Work Station" since if it is not on the network it is not a server . That you have to log back into the collector services once restarted to have it start operating again ?

The TASKE server is on the network. The VM unit is not. I do realize that, but like I said, when it does crash(whitch is maybe once or twice a year) it goes down hard. A reboot doesn't fix corrupt files. It would be nice if it did, but anyway, back to the original point: I just want to be able to view the reports on the voice processor. They are there in DB programming, but I can't see the results.
