Can't as far as I know. If you could it would be in the drop down box.

Thanks,I thought this was the case but I haven't seen anything in the drop down box to lead me to the System Speed Dial. Cheers anyway.

Yikes! "Wise old Carl" has been silent because he has nothing else to add to this thread, and, because after 46 years of driving, I spent all day Friday stripping my vehicle and cleaning it so I could have it detailed!

Geeze, you should see the stuff I dragged out of it, including the crayons from the previous owner's kids. That and my lovely hour "saving big money" pretty much put me offline from 9AM to 7PM then I ran an emergency service call in the car.

My van is ready at 11:00 today and I still use Desi or a spreadsheet. https://public.carl.airpost.net/panasonic/TDA/7600_DT_Labels.xls

if you want to add names for speed dial on a lot of different phones open a off line system and paste names in a extension port then make button as dss and name will be pulled in, print the labels. on the system you would have one touch buttons done

Again, why not just use DESI Program and labels.
Faster and no silliness of playing cut out paper dolls.
You should have more productive things to do with your time at work.

LOL It comes down to time. If I'm making the labels, I'll use Desi and the Desi labels. If the customer is doing it, they can opt for the spreadsheet. That means I'll do the Desi if I'm the one doing the cut and place, if the customer wants to cut and place, then they have a choice of buying the labels or printing on heavy stock and cutting them out. If I'm doing 4 or 6 phones, I *might* be persuaded to cut out labels, because then I have their phone extensions in the database.

Sorry I'm not familiar with DESI but I thought just hitting print from within the phone system software would be an easy option.

OBT could I get you to elaborate on you method of 'paste names in a extension port...'
Thanks again

I use the system tool to label all my systems
I don't normally do speed dials on buttons. I think they are a waste of a button

If you fill in the button name in to a extension name on a blank or backup off line database you can add them to a label by setting the button to be that extension dss. It will pull in the name from the extension you can copy this to any block of extensions or per handset and not have to type more than once

Print out all the extensions and it will fit as many on one page as it can. Cut out a stick them in. You can save the csv file and use it for changes or to print for new phones
