Ok. Could not download from Avaya or could not run the installation of the software after you downloaded it to your computer?

Could it be your connection getting a corrupt download?

That's what it sounds like to me. But just to put the blame back on Avaya, it's a huge bloatware file over a gig in size. Takes me over an hour to download on a high speed connection. Sometimes it takes several tries to get it to complete.

Its important to note that when downloading the file, you should save it, not attempt to run it from download.
I have had one corrupted too. Just downloaded it again and all was fine.
My only gripe is I wish they would strip out the language packs separate. I imagine it would shrink the file size by half.

Thing probably is it would mean more work for those Elbonian engineers they offshore to. It's awfully cold there now so they don't work very much. I think they are still working on the ACS bugs. -Hal

Yeah, that would be a problem. Always save it THEN run it. My old XP Pro machine even had a problem opening the directory the damn thing was saved to. Remember it's bloatware and will suck up all your computers resources so at least give it a chance to finish downloading before it tries to run it.
