Check response times from the local subnet to the IPRC card. Delay is killing you more than likely and there is little that can be done to fix it. The pitfalls of the Public Internet for VoIP strikes again. You would like to see 5% packet loss at the absolute most and 150ms of delay at the most for decent quality. You can attempt to change codecs to G729 and tweak echo cancellation settings but if the delay/jitter is bad there isnt much you can do

To be honest, untill the call control issue is resolved voice quality doesn't matter. For the phones to be resetting, they have to be dropping completely. But you are right about those numbers.

there is a call controll timeout timer on newer IPRC equipped Axxess systems and on all IT5Ks. I believe that the default timeout timer is 5 seconds, so if the endpoint doesnt get a response from CP in that alloted time it will reset itself.
