Inter-tel phone system Axxess 8000 series software version 8.2 550.8520 endpoints.
I'd like to know how to make 2 endpoints ring when 1 extension rings? I'm trying to set up a back up for when our operator is away from her desk without her having to forward the phone everytime.
Thanks in advance....

Option 1 is to have another extension use the Secondary Extension option. Option 2 is to have the operator station and another extension in a hunt group. A call can roll over to the second extension after a preset time. Or it can ring both phones by placing them in an extension list and using the extension list as a member of the hunt group.

To expand, once you build your hunt group, build a system forwarding path that points to the hunt group. Apply that FP to both extensions immediate for all conditions. Build a CRA that timesout to a mailbox, then put that CRA as your recall destination for the HG. This will allow both extensions to ring yet send the unanswered calls to the user's MB.
