I have a customer with a Vodavi XTS system with 3015-71 phones. When the receptionist is on an outside call, she hears a tone in her handset when another outside call is coming in. This is distracting to her and she wants me to turn it off. There are others in the office who can answer other lines when she is on the phone. How do I turn it off? Also, where is the "feature" button on a 3015-71 phone? I have read somewhere that "feature, #,2" might turn off the tone and make the phone audibly ring on incoming calls. Thanks for any help.

The XTS has the option for muted ring from the speaker or reminder ring which is set by a timer...it does not have the option for a ring thru the handset with a digital set. It will happen with call waiting from the phone company or talking on a slt. There is no feature button on a 3015-71 phone, the speed button is used to program the buttons. There is no default #2 code either.
You may want to browse a user guide for more information.
