Anyone know how to connect ISOETEC 228 to a Time Warner PRI? We bought a used PRI card for it but seems like only one call can come in or out, not multiple. We have our phone vendor and Time Warner scratching their heads. Time Warner brought fiber in and we have it converted to a basic PRI circuit, and have attached that to the 228 system with the PRI card be purchased. We can get tone and dial out and receive but again it's only one call in/out. We can't get multiple calls to work. Is this possible? Do we need another piece of equipment in the middle?

What switch type is Time Warner and what switch type is the PRI set up for 01=ATT Custom 02=National NI-2 or 03=DMS-100
Also what is the 228 system software running and software type on the PRI card.
Also are you trying to get caller ID info sent to the system from Time Warner. Seems like I remember someone having issues with a carrier sending name. You must have PRI with 1.3 firmware on it to get name and number.
If you want remote assist PM me a reach number.

mjc,
Both switch types are NI-2

We are running a 648 processor and the version is 3.0.0

Our PRI card is supposed to have the 1.3 firmware(The PRI is new to us, we are now trying to switch to Time Warner and the fiber they brought into our facility.)

We DO Sync up "D" channel successfully and can complete incoming calls.

So your switch type is set to 02 in the PRI parameters screen.
Have you tried to change it to 01 or 03 to see if anything changes? When you look at the T1 Monitor screen in the top left it will show you revision (software) installed on card does it say 1.3.
Also what is your line setup screen B-Screen settings for the channels?
Only other thing is D-Bugs but I don't recall one that was to correct 1 call only issue just dialing out issues.
Did you get my PM about a reach number? Would be happy to look at it for you and perhaps try to fix. LMK

mjc,
I will check with my tech tomorrow regarding the questions.
I am not good with blogs, I see the message, but it just says "Left you response to PRI PM back with reach number if you would like remote assist as well."
Where do I find the PM?
I may have inadvertently deleted it !!!!
