Hi dealing with an officeserv 7030, the system has started to keep ringing after the incoming call has been disconnected, ie someone calls and then hangs up, the system behaves like the line is still connected and keeps transferring to different handsets. if the line is picked up a disconnect tone is heard. any help would be appreciated.

If you monitor the line with a test set what happens? or plug a single line phone directly to the line and test, what are the results?

Are the phones that continue to ring - digital or analogue extensions.

Sounds like disconnect supervision. I'm not sure what kind your co uses, I think that's where you need to look next. John

I have been battling this same issue for 3 months. When the far-end hangs up, Telco disconnects and returns dialtone, and the 7030 trunk port remains connected. Telco's Disconnect Supervision is enabled.
thedirge, did you have any luck?
