My payphone is behind my Partner ACS. I have tried it connected directly to the eMTA as well with the same results. I did want to mention, I just checked the SMDR logs and the ACS is reading the digits that the payphone autodials, and they are correct. I think this supports my theory that perhaps it is dialing the numbers too fast for the eMTA.

If you have the Partner autodial a stored number does it go through? Listen to the speed of the Partner and then the payphone. Does the payphone sound faster?

Hal, I've never bothered to store a speed dial on the partner. I will do that right now and let you know.

The partner dials WAYYYY slower, and it goes out just fine.
edit: I'm in a dialog with a friend who does the programming of the payphone and we are seeing if the dialing can be slowed some. The newer boards can be, but we are unsure if the older board in my phone has that programming option.
