I have a UX5000 9.5 64 Port 2.50 CPU.System appears to be working fine with Intra Mail There is a solid light on LED 2 .I know they refer to it as an alarm light but how do you clear it I also tried to upgrade the software to 3.5 and it did not work (never had this happen before) I had to down grade it back to 2.5 in order for it to work again I tried several different software versions but none of them worked I just upgraded another account a while back and it worked fine
I think it has something to do with the LED 2
anyone have any suggestions

LED 2 is an alarm light. You can't clear it from Web Pro - the easiest way is to clear it from the phone programming interface. You go to menu 90-53-01 to clear it.
You will also find that the alarm LED on NEC systems is kind of a joke. Half of the time, the alarm is on and you can't figure out what is causing it - nor can the NEC Tech support.
So, as long as the system is running okay - I would say don't worrry about it. The software upgrade should work for you - if you are using a USB stick - it might be a compatibility issue.

Thanks for the response 90-53-01 worked fine As far as the upgrade from 2.5 to 3.5 I just did this a while back for a customer & it was fine (It was prior to installing a new intra mail -for some Reason it did not like the data base that was on this system I loaded another data base & it did upgrade to 3.5 However I had other issues with the LAN port Could not conect I could ping it but it would not conect Then I just defaulted it ( it's just a bench system that I aquired It was definitely a learning experience I will definitely think twice prior to upgrading A UX seeing that it's discontinued
