Customer has a 824DR5 with a Call Pilot 150/mini can not transfer to a external phone number. Set up tree 1 path 3-7 selector codes to internal extension (works great), path 8 goes to external phone number using pool group 1 (A). When calling in and pressing 8 you can see a line being picked up and get message "one moment please, then a beep" after a few moments you hear "the routing information configure for this call is not valid" I have added a 9 to the number then 91 (local number) still doesn't work help

Never tried it before simply because Callpilot is not compatible with 8X24 and should have never been sold to the client that way, it may work somewhat but not everything.
8X24 also does not support External Transfer, you need MICS 4.1 for that.
Also you would need to use Routes and not Pools so try Routes.

I do not understand if its not compatible it should not work at all, everything works except external transfer at the other office I have a 824 DR5 with what I think is a callpilot and its works, it could be a flash unit is there any way I could fake it to make it work
thanks

"if its not compatible it should not work at all"

And who told you that?

Most of what you need may work and something else may not work.

There is a reason why they make compatibility charts.

Try calling Avaya and put in a ticket and tell us what was the first thing they told you.

Check that your lines are set to Disconnect Supervision = yes since you have no routing on the KSU.
