I think Caller ID works on any set that rings on a Compact ICS with any software as long as the set is programmed. I believe that was one advantage to a compact ics.

Yes but as I said, press F811 to see the C LID before you answer.
The question is about Auto Caller ID (and not Caller ID) which is supported on 6.1 and up.
Auto Caller ID is when the CLID shows on the display when no user interaction with the set.
