Does anyone know where I can get a lightweight and flexible RJ-45 cable? I just got a new laptop and bag and I am tired of stuffing one of those stiff Cat5E cables in my bag just so I can do a little Avaya programming. It does not have to be Cat5 either. For all of you who carry around an assortment of cables, you can understand why I want the thinnest and most lightweight thing I can get ahold of . Color does not really matter, but a good yellow or red who be easier not to leave around.

It sounds like you have at&t running in the background. Look around for an old merlin phone and snag the cord. These are small in diameter 8 pin and should suit your purpose.

Why don't you just make yourself one out of 4 pair line cord?

Or get a Cisco Programming cable. These are blue line cords, flat 8 pin. Try Ebay

Thanks for the help. I tried the flat cables, but they don't coil as good. jwooten's idea of using a merlin 8C cord seems to be a good solution. Just goes to show 2 or more heads are better than one.
