We got into a Quote and later found that the customer wanted to "Automatically" record all calls to a group of phones. They will have a PRI installed as part of the installation. We quoted a Mitel 5000 system with digital endpoints. I have talked to the people at Oaisys and discussed the Talkument and the Tracer options. Both are good, but pricey. We need to keep this low price and from what they tell me they only need to be able to produce a recording of a call from a specific date/time. Does anyone have any other solutions that they use?

Thanks

I don't think a cheap tap exists. You could look at Verint, formerly Mercom.

Or, there is the poor mans way with CCS & Intelligent Router. <-- My least favorite route.

I would stay away from Verint, had bad experiences with their product and support. Oasisys has a good solution in Tracer. It works well, is fairly easy to set up and their support is great. They can do any type of digital trunk side recording. They also have another flavor called Talkument however I have never seen it.

Thanks guys for the replies. I talked to Oaisys this morning and the Talkument looks good, although the price is a little much. I don't think so but the cleint will. I also talked to the CommSource guru at Mitel and he also suggested Talkument, said Verint would be way to much.

I found a company called VersaDial. They are cost competative on a station side recording. Trunk side not so much. They look promising.
