Our Vodavi Talkpath 303-06 no longer works...squealing sound comes from cabinet. Opened cabinet and disconnected hard drive cable and squealing sound stops. How do I get a new hard drive installed with new software? Replace with flash drive? Are settings saved internally? From previous invoice from long out of business vendor, software was upgraded to 2.90c. We have ECOM and Admin software, and manuals. We are located in the Milwaukee area, but cannot find any Vodavi vendors.

You can send the entire unit to SoTel, which is the manufacturer's authorized service center (800-992-9915). They will replace the drive with a solid state one, pre-loaded with the operating system. You'll have to reprogram the system's settings, but the repair cost is reasonable.
