Hello, I am having an issue with wanting to change the outgoing caller ID on just one of the DID numbers that are on a PRI

Currently all out going calls show the firms billing telephone number, but they are sub leasing to a new tenant that I have assigned one of the DID's to her extension.
I asked COX (the provider) to change the outgoing caller ID to depict her name on just her DID.
Today she called me and the display showed the big firms billing telephone number , but for the name info showed unavailable.

I just had the firm's receptionist make two calls to me and both those showed billing telephone number and the firm's name.

Any ideas?

What you are asking telco to do is not possible .Her DID comes in as bundle of purchased numbers ie 567-2001 thru 567- 2099 .Those numbers will always show the BTN " bill to number " to change one number in that range you must have telco port that number into her own account and wire the new line into the PBX . Then you will need to modify her out dialing so that she only grabs her new trunk when calling out . The programming time depends on how your system is set up .
