We have an Intertel Axxess 9.009. Recently got a Sys Alarm #100 on the admin keyset. Cleared the alarm and found a phone that had died. Now the port does not appear to be active. Does the system "deactivate" a port after a keyset goes bad? I re-punched each hop on the line. And the toner, which typically shows a bright green light on an active line, now shows a dim green light. So I believe it is still getting some voltage. Thanks ahead for any help that can be provided.

Try to punch a jack on the station block and test the phone there. Sounds like a bad port.
