I have two Panasonic KX-NT345 phones I am trying to restore to sell. I go into the setup menu and go to the maintenance tab then go to Setting Initialize. It then says enter password. I have no idea what this password is. I've tried 1234. All ones and zeros. The password can be up to 10 digits, Manual says nothing about it. Tried all basic passwords I can think of but no success. Any suggestions?

I am unfamiliar with a KX-NT345...perhaps you meanKX-NT 343/346/366?
I believe they are your basic dumb terminal and all information is stored on the KSU not the keyset itself. Perhaps someone else will correct me if I am in error.

You are correct, I did mean the KX-NT346. That was a typo. Good catch! Also good to know. I went into the setting and removed it static IP and IP for primary and secondary PBX. Not really sure what else I could do to really make it more "default" for the next owner. Seems everything else is controlled by the PBX tho, extension and VM.

If the phone isn't connected to the KSU/VM then access is impossible.
If the set, it x-connected to a different KSU then it will have access to only what the new KSU has programmed to that particular port.

So in theory the phone should be all good to sell to the next user?
