If anyone can help me with this, I would be Gratful. Is there a code that I can use to find the software version on the operator phone or an easier way the customer can find it and relay it to me over the phone, other then pulling the cpu card, so I can be prepared with the correct version?

I don't know of a way to do it from the phone, but someone may know if it's possible...what I have done in the past is connect a computer with hyperterminal, using the Axxess cable, to the CPU card and power the system off and back on. It will tell you the version of the software.

Pulling the CPU card is not going to tell you what software version is running. You can do the diagnostics code 9900 but only from an admin phone. When you connect to the system to program, Session Manager will tell you the system version if you havent chosen the correct one to program with. If your an Intertel dealer then download the all in one cd which includes all of these in one download and installation file. Then download 10 and 11 and you'll be pretty much set as far as programmoing goes.
