Well...I think you got your T's and R's swapped. Look at your answer again. As long as it's right on both ends it doesn't matter how you wire an RJ-9.

The color code for cable pairs seems fairly easy. Having taken Electronic Engineering in college, I had to learn the color code for resistors as well as "Eli the Iceman".

The color code for cable pairs seems fairly easy. Having taken Electronic Engineering in college, I had to learn the color code for resistors as well as "Eli the Iceman". I'm not familiar with that one. The one I learned isn't suitable for a family friendly forum.... Let's just say it starts with Bad Boys.... and anyone that knows electronics probably knows the rest.

That would be it.  "Eli" has to do with the relationship between inductance and capacitance.
