Working on our office SL2100 and have sip trunks on it. Has anyone had any trouble with faxing over SIP on this system? Does 84-33 truly help with the faxing? Is there any recommended settings? The programming manual for this isn't exactly the best read for 84-33.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
TIA
Jeff

Yes, I had that issue this summer, the incident was elevated to support in Japan. They just asked for more data captures. I put a Grandstream ATA on the trunk and have had no problems since. Univerge Blue did have to remove a trunk from the SL2100 and configure it for the ATA. I'll use ATAs from now on.

I have several customers utilizing NEC SIP trunks with the fax machine connected to the single line extensions of the SL2100 with no problems. I have 84-33 disabled. what kind of problems are you having ?
